My parents are against tattoos. What should I do?
First, you should pray. Then print out two copies of the Bible Support article. Have your parents read the article and then have a discussion. Hopefully everything will work out. One caution though: our freedom from the ritual laws that at one time banned tattoos is not greater than our responsibilities under the commandments now. Above our desires, we must love and honor our parents (one of the first five commandments). So, if in the end they disagree, you need to honor that decision.
